Singapore Franchise Development |
|
In Singapore we will need a new generation of franchising and licensing experts to achieve its ambition of becoming the region's franchise management hub. And to develop the necessary know-how.
The Singapore Economic Development Board will support franchise companies to train their employees in such skills. Franchising is big business in Singapore, contributing 15 percent to gross domestic product every year.
In the last year the number of franchisors increased from 10 to 20 percent, making it one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy. EDB said it would provide partial funding for companies who sponsor their employees for the course.
